Anthem’s GameTV Now Available in HD with Cogeco

TORONTO – Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. announced today that GameTV, a Canadian television channel specializing in game-related programming such as game shows, reality series, movies and sports, is now available in HD for Cogeco Connexion’s subscribers – channel 845 – as part of the My Mix package or as a standalone offering.

June’s programming line-up on GameTV includes:


• Premiering on May 29, Mondays to Thursdays at 4 p.m. ET and overnights at 2 a.m. ET, World Poker Tour, the world’s biggest international poker tour, has been creating poker millionaires for more than 15 years. The series features commentary and analysis by poker pro Mike Sexton and actor Vince Van Patten, anchored by interviews hosted by Lynn Gilmartin.

• Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET, IMPACT Wrestling features some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling, including EC3, Bobby Lashley, Eddie Edwards and Alberto El Patron, keeping crowds on the edge of their seats with addictive storylines, awe-inspiring athleticism and larger-than-life personalities.

• Fridays at 8 p.m. ET, the third season of the pop culture series Celebrity Name Game is hosted by Craig Ferguson and pairs celebrities with contestants to identify famous names in various categories.

• Every night is movie night on GameTV. New titles coming this month include Men in Black II, Fight Club, Ghost Rider, Stoker, Kill Bill Vol. 1, Red Dragon, War of the Worlds, Fantastic Four and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.


GameTV is available in over 9.5 million homes across Canadian cable, satellite and IPTV systems.
