Toronto – December 10, 2020 – AXS TV announced that it’s bringing the popular music-themed channel to Canada on Bell Fibe TV, Alt TV and Virgin TV beginning today. The Network will be available as an À la carte option for $4 per month on Fibe TV in Ontario and Québec on channels 571 and 1571, and on channel 571 on Alt TV and Virgin TV.
Subscribers will have access to the Network’s acclaimed roster of original and acquired programming packed with exclusive series, iconic concerts, insightful discussions and more. AXS TV’s lineup is headlined this month by the premiere of the unforgettable 2018 concert film Coldplay: Live in Sao Paulo on December 31 at 9:30pm eastern. The film captures the band on the final stop of its landmark 2017 Head Full Of Dreams Tour as they bring the sold-out crowd to its feet with soaring performances of “Fix You”, “Viva La Vida”, “Yellow” and many more.
Other programming highlights include four all-new episodes of the fan favorite celebrity sitdown series The Big Interview with Dan Rather in January, featuring candid conversations with rock legend Perry Farrell, record-breaking country artist Luke Combs, Oscar®-winning actress and filmmaker Regina King, and country music trailblazer Randy Travis. January also features the pop culture countdown show The Top Ten Revealed, the artist profile series Rock Legends, and the investigative series Music’s Greatest Mysteries, among others.
Subscribers will also be able to celebrate Boxing Day by reliving some of the most pivotal moments in music history in the special A Year In Music 12-hour marathon on December 26 starting at 4pm eastern. Hosted by Grammy-winning rocker Lzzy Hale, with appearances by music experts Downtown Julie Brown, Matt Pinfield, Tommy Chong and more, the series takes viewers on a guided tour through some of music’s most definitive years with featured episodes covering 1966 through 2005.
