El Cero is Named Official 0.0% ABV Craft Mocktail of Invicta Fighting Championships

LOS ANGELES (September 18, 2024) - Invicta Fighting Championships announced today a partnership with Chaco Flaco’s new El Cero brand of canned mocktails. Known for its lower calories, lower sugar, all-natural ingredients, real fruit juices, and 0.0% ABV, El Cero is the “Official Craft Canned Mocktail” of the premier all-female mixed martial arts promotion—starting with Invicta FC 57 on Friday, September 20.

Under the guidance of trailblazing combat sports executive Shannon Knapp, Invicta FC has changed the face of MMA, providing a pivotal platform where established and up-and-coming female fighters can compete against top talent from around the world, while honing their skills with dedicated trainers and staff. Now, as the non-alcoholic industry continues to experience a growing surge in demand and popularity—ranking as the third-fastest growing beverage category in the United States, amidst decreasing alcohol consumption among millennials and Gen Z—Invicta FC finds itself at the forefront once again, in this landmark partnership with El Cero.

Throughout 2024, Invicta events will feature El Cero signage on cage canvas and corner pads, and El Cero product placement will be prominently positioned at all DJ booths. El Cero will also be featured during in-arena promotions highlighting product code to the live audience and in spots airing on CBS Sports Network, with ring announcements spotlighting El Cero as the official sponsor of Invicta FC 57. Additionally, El Cero branding will be displayed on the Invicta FC homepage and newsletter, and the Invicta Instagram page will include collaborative content with El Cero both up to and following the events

Fueled by Knapp’s visionary leadership and keen eye for strategic marketing and revenue opportunities, Invicta presents a thriving and unique sponsorship platform—giving partners access to a distinct and effective outlet that can drive ROI via meaningful and engaging brand narratives, custom content, and so much more.

“El Cero’s non-alcoholic craft mocktails paired with Invicta FC presents a unique opportunity to promote both women's sports and mindful drinking choices. With the rise in popularity of non-alcoholic beverages, this collaboration will resonate with fans who are looking for a refreshing drink option while enjoying the thrill of competitive sports,” said Chuck Moore, CEO of El Cero Drinks. “The tagline ‘All the Punch without the Buzz’ effectively captures the essence of this partnership, emphasizing that you can enjoy the excitement and flavor without the effects of alcohol. It’s a timely and relevant collaboration that reflects current trends in both the beverage and women’s sports industries.”

“Shannon Knapp has shaped Invicta FC into a multifaceted force with wide-reaching appeal, and this partnership with El Cero is a powerful reflection of that,” said Rob Kligman, Chief Revenue Officer of Anthem Sports Group, which oversees Invicta Fighting Championships. “Like Invicta, El Cero has a history of breaking new ground in a highly-competitive marketplace. There has never been a better time to enter this untapped landscape, and El Cero is the perfect partner to join us on this journey. We are proud to welcome El Cero aboard as the promotion’s Official Craft Canned Mocktail, kicking off in a big way with Invicta FC 57 on September 20!”
